Midtown Parish – St. Matthew’s Sister Church

Midtown Parish UMC is located at the corner of 7th and Norris Streets, in the heart of North Philadelphia. For 186 years the church has remained a focal point of local missions in the community. 

Led by Pastor, Terry Bridges, they are God’s Powerhouse in the City–continually growing through Biblical teaching, loving fellowship and honest prayer; transforming worship and the use of their spiritual gifts in service to all.

Each year St. Matthew’s supports Midtown in their mission by conducting a Christmas Toy Drive and a School Supplies Drive that benefits those in Midtown’s community.

For over 50 years, St. Matthews and Midtown Parish have celebrated the Christmas season by enjoying a meal together followed by a worship service where we praise God for all of his blessings.
